What is Apple Jack?
Named after the 72-foot wooden shrimp boat Apple Jack, AppleJack Media is rooted in legacy and storytelling. Apple Jack was owned and operated by my parents until she was retired, temporarily being converted into a Spanish caravel before being scrapped for parts in 2017. Now based in Gainesville, Florida, AppleJack Media honors the vessel that once formed the backbone of my family.
Though we’re not in the shrimping business, AppleJack Media continues to carry forward the spirit of hard work, quality, and community. Our mission is to preserve stories—past and present—through high-quality photography and videography. Just as Apple Jack once delivered something meaningful to many, we strive to do the same, one frame at a time.
